A diplomacy game, just that.
This game is full.
The basic idea is... well described in Nathan's post. In simple terms, we want to play our civilizations as real civilizations. Not aiming to kill others at all costs, not having to take on our long allies, like in other PBEMs. Instead, willing to make, and play real nations. In this game, consider Civ3 as a civilization simulator, not just another strategy game, like in simple PBEMs. to win will be to see how all civilizations survive to see the modern times.
For more details, go here. The FAQ is based on Civ2, but the main points are all valid in Civ3.
Now, the previous tries go veeery slooow, due to the number of players. Therefore, we will have only 4 human-controlled civilizations in this game. Also, before joining, make sure you can commit enough time to play the saves at least 3 times a week. Best would be, if you could be with us every day.
As for the stories, everyone understands it is a PBEM. Requiring to roleplay each and every turn, especially in the early game, wouldn't make much sense. So, basically, describe important events in your civ's history, or longer periods.
This thread should be used for stories. Turn tracking should be done in the separate thread.
Game settings (final):
4 AI, 4 human players. No trading with the AI, no alliances with the AI, no MPPs with the AI. Extortion not allowed, which means all you can get in peace talks with the AI, is peace itself. Basically, they are barbarians, and have nothing worth of interest.
Players (and playing order):
AI (not random - chosen different Militaristic civs):
