Another Succession Game?

i am listening (partially) and i even took a look at the game. nasty situation... the nearest (spanish) only have crappy desert tiles and the rest of the continent is so distant from the capital. are you guys going for a peaceful victory? domination/conquest is unlikely.

but this week i surely won't be playing. job interviews and decisions are taking all my time... i'll catch up with the thread later on (hopefully).

Good luck with the job interviews. I always tried to treat job interviews like a strategy game...which I want to win. So go for a domination victory.

Good sir, we just got to almost tech parity. Four cities have been switched to constant unit production already. As to things being far from capital, we still can make quite some territory with Courthouses, because we're playing a Commercial civ. And, there's always Communism. Everything is possible.

Actually, we're not in trouble at the moment. The AIs fight each other, not us. Our tech situation is good. We just got lots of luxuries and gold, and don't have to worry for almost 20 turns. We have four cities that can build units almost all the time. Holes in ex-Korean territory have been plugged, and Temples rushed to secure against flips.

I would say to follow Modo's lead. These next severl turns can be build-build-build. I have not looked at the save file, so my advice are only general comments/suggenstions.

On the main continent, we can crank out units, and workers. We need libraries in most (all?) cities. If cities get to max. population, try to slip in a worker build. Ship some of the workers to the new continent.

In our new continent we can build courthouses. If Spain is about to tumble, you may want to declare war and grab a few weak cities. Of course, keep in mind who Spain's allies are.

Finally, we are in great shape. Whatever you do cannot screw us up. So enjoy!!!

We already have them in most cities on our main island, that could build them. I switched from Markets, which didn't seem that useful 15 turns ago.

I could no longer stand to see our cities burning.

After attacking the Spanish City of Santiago, Shenandoah's Army was defeated.
The Germans continue to fight hard against Spain.

We Love The Skrobism Day celebrated in most cities.
We attacked Palma.

12 - 1070 AD

GL Complanter heading towards Namp'o to build an army.
