    • Sorry to say, but the Ottomans are friends of Russia at the moment.....reason being, we cannot afford an attack on our flank while the main body of our army is attacking Austria to the west.

I believe they are also at war with Spain, which of course makes them our friends, and overall friends of the Grand Alliance

on to Lord Rickety, the quiet. Hey Rickety, what grand plans for taking over the world are you working on ver there?

I would think that sinking two of my ships puts us just ever so slightly more than only "technically" at war, wouldn't you agree good sir?

Reinforcements are on the way, Lord Paddy, by way of Paris.

              • Lord Paddy, you will be pleased to know that our Armies are poised outside of Tarnapol, ready to consolidate our move into Austria proper. Our spies report that 65% of the total number of Austrian Hussars in existence are within sight of our troops, and we expect they will be annihilated by our overwhelming strength within a couple of turns. We can only hope that the opportunistic Spanish (or British, for that matter) do not take advantage of our relatively thin defences in other areas while our main strike force is engaged with the Austrians

On the downside though, I see your lands are full of nasty Turks (and Russian soldiers passing through).....this must make it difficult for your troops to reach their defensive lines

As time marches on in this imperial world of ours, the turn moves on to rickety, of the mighty alliance-wielding English!

                • For one so mighty, the Ottomans are proving to be a pain in the side.

Lord Paddy, I expect to have taken Paris by the end of the year. Whence would my forces be of assistance? Bear in mind that I aim to rid central Europe of the evil Ottoman scurge.

Sounds like a trap to me. I decline.

                        • So are your leaderless troops going to attack my Cossacks when they reach your borders though their conquests?

I certainly hope you've got them back in order by then, or there could be some blood money to pay when the rest of my forces catch up

                              • Sorry for the delay.

I just got back from seeing Chris Isaak in concert. What a fantastic performer! Brilliant music, great stage presence, modest, and above all else he'll make you laugh. I recommend you go see him if you like his music even a little!

                                Now, back to business......

Tarnapol has been taken with heavy losses, but as expected we have decimated the Austrian Hussars. We also took heavy losses attempting to take Cracow, but our bid failed. We are poised to take it next turn. Limoges has also been captured, bringing our troops closer to the Spanish border

                                on to rickety.
