  • I made one mistake but the army that took five French cities is more than capable of defending the Swedes.

    • Bring it on, you deranged Spaniard.

Rickety.....Masuro has aggressively declared war on Russia without provocation, and apparently has most of his army in Sweden. Do me a favour and destroy his empire while he's away

      • I didn't declare war on anyone. A mutual protection pact brought me into the war when a bully country declared war on Sweden.

And I have a rather large army in Spain. Don't kid yourself.

But then again, I don't understand your last comment in the context of this earlier comment. It seems like this fantastic Spanish Army can be in two places at the one time

                    • To the Lord Paddy of Prussia.....your financial aid is greatly appreciated in these difficult times, and the Russian Czar pledges to repay your loyalty with interest when the time is right. Meanwhile, we must continue our Crusade against the Spanish traitor and his Swedish underlings, whose time on this earth is limited.

Strangely though, the Lord Rickety has been quiet in these proceedings. Perhaps he has played the part of Judas, accepting 20 pieces of silver for acquiescence (ie, access to shipping lanes )

And for those loyal allies of Russia (and even those not so loyal allies, if such indeed exist), we have ascertained the following distribution of Spain's military, clearly inferior to the might of Russia:

                      40 Cavalry
                      4 Cannon
                      3 Frigate
                      10 Transports
                      42 Soldado
                      24 Grand Battery
                      6 Ships of the Line

Our Russian Intelligence Party (RIP) believes that all Spanish instances of chest-puffing are indeed absolute bluff, and that either there is little resistance in Sweden, or the Spanish homeland is dangerously undefended. Rickety - despite possible alliances you may have made....this is clearly your opportunity!

on to you, Lord Rickety the quiet one

                        • It seems I have indeed been betrayed by someone in Europe. Very sad. Of course, they are going to be very unhappy with Russia for letting me know about their spying activities.
Mr. Russia, my forces may not be as numerous as yours but you have the might of Austria and the Ottomans against you. That levels the playing field, I should think.

                          • Mr Spain, perhaps if you had sufficient funds to train as many spies as Russia, you would know, as I do, that the "might" of Austria and Ottomans is not so mighty after all.

                              • I would rather spend my money on producing troops to defend an innocent country.
