Rome would like to announce that we repelled an amphibious invasion by the Byzantines this turn.

MFC used a dromon to bombard and cut my spice this turn and sent three of my cities into temporary revolt. Nice work.
I really should have anticipated that, so it's my fault for not raising the Lux slider ahead of time.
As for what I was up to this turn... there's now a small Roman stack standing on the Byzantine border.

It is a nice scary stack on my border. Now I understand why my observation posts were wiped out. At least my mosquito strikes in retaliation for them had some effect, 3 cities in chaos is more than I would have expected.

Yeah, it's my fault for not anticipating that, as I said. Oh well: you win some, you lose some.

When my stack(s) of destruction(death)(dismemberment) arrive at its (their) destination(destinations), there will be no unanticipated insects (parasites) to lessen its (their) devestating (destructive) (demonic) effect(s).
