about the email going around concerning automoves. this is a MP exploit.
although one shouldn't use it, it's difficult to control (only the last player seens the automoves) and so i think we can agree on using it in any non-combat, non-tactics missions. but when one automoves units into a city as defence or uses it to block resources or passages, i think it's misusing this PBEM "feature".
what do you guys think?- Artificial Intelligence usually beats real stupidity

I think "go to" should not be used. That was prohibited by the rules agreed to.
If it is a big convenience then do not move the unit the turn you take it off auto. It would already have had its move at the end of the turn.
Anybody who still wants to use it should have to pay me lots of money, so I can buy a nice funneral for my civ.Do you believe in Evil? The Nefarious Mr. Butts

All units on goto are moved automatically after the last person's turn, so the only player who can fairly use it without potentially disadvantaging anyone else is the first player (I think). I agree it shouldn't be used, except in situations where you are just moving units around inside your own empire and there is no chance of another civ's units being nearby.
