And yes, I'd be only too happy to take one of your Iron sources, thanks very much

                • indeed it is

aqua, i'd like to request a detailed battle report when your vilcabamba-army departs (those knights, ACs, pikemen, longbowmen ), including unit-capturings?

if you wish, i can do the same...

                  • So you've been spying on me, have you? That's not nice.

Well anyway, they are just sitting there waiting for your inevitable attack. Always need to be prepared for the Sabrewolf. In any case, my units would not cause much damage against Muskets fortified in a city, now would they?

i was wondering why my army was considered weak despite my musket-buildup... so i had a look at your "defensive" army (imho pikes are defensive, knights aren't really )

has "the sabrewolf" ever attacked you? the only wars we've ever fought are culture wars at city spacing wars

uhm... i'm not trying to motivate you to attack... but knights, medinfs and longbowmen have attack 4... muskets defend at 4...

Hmmm, how did you know where to look?

Admittedly no, but one doesn't forget threats easily

Firstly, MI and Longbows would not be able to reach your city anyway. Secondly, as you and I both know, Muskets sitting inside that city in particular have a defensive rating when fortified of 7.4 (assuming grassland, but I forget). That gives a Knight a 22.4% chance of winning. Not good odds, wouldn't you agree? So if you've got say 4 muskets in there, I'd need about 18 knights to take the city

are you serious? if i would intend to attack you, vilcabamba is where i'd start

7.4? wow, why was i scared?

but you'd need less knights. if one of them loses (or retreats), the defence is most surely weakened and the next knight then has a >50% chance... so i guess 9 knights would suffice... (or 5 knights + 5 ACs? )

Half my Army? I don't think you can count to half. Looks like plenty enough units to me.

Yes indeed.....and that is where you did look. Implication being, that you intended to attack

The logic is correct....the numbers are still light, especially given AC are only 3 attack.

Sabrewolf vs Aqualung A psychological cold-war of immense proportions, employing dozens of intelligence experts poring over game mechanics details and resulting in horrendously expensive military build-ups and citizens living in constant fear of attack......
