Good job sabre (with the AAR also). I don't have much to say about my strategy except my lack of diplomatic experience (not that you have much more) led me to draw you into making the first strike while holding the balance of my forces back for retaliation. I'm learning from this and my other PBEMs that passive aggressive strategies don't work very well...
I think single city elimination is a bit extreme. I've since discovered that you can designate the number of cities that lead to elimination. 2 or 3 city elimination holds a great deal of promise IMO as a way to put a check on the REX strategy. Unfortunately, the 'Tarzan' game we're testing it in isn't moving...
