I have so many PMs in my box, sorry if I lost the one that had your addy in it...
As long as one out of the four players posts the year, it shouldn't be a problem. I've just seen too many games where the turn is lost and it takes the players the better part of a week just to figure out what year it should be, much less who had it last.
I have no problem with posting dates (at least once a turn, as Rommel said), but every player should be required to post every time they do send the turn along, making it much easier to determine where a save gets caught up.
Rommel2D, I'd rather you use the e-mail address I gave in this thread. The one you have in the top post is my work address, and I'd rather not make that public. Thanks!
Have you looked at some of the optimized dual install proceedures- copying just the patch-relevant files and swapping them back and forth? It's a bit of a pain, but shouldn't take that much space. How much do you have?
Get the 1.15 patch and extract it into an empty folder. Zip that folder.
Then get the 1.22 patch and extract it into another empty folder. Zip that folder too.
Now whenever you want to play 1.15, unzip the 1.15 folder into your conquests folder. Overwrite the existing files. Similarly with 1.22. You don't need much space at all for that.
I'm also posting it here just in case I misread the email address.
As things turn out, I have to be out of town on business for most of next week. I've posted for a replacement for my games but I'm wondering is "which doctor" the designated replacement here?
