Dude Where's My Country? It's a good laugh - better than the one before, Stupid White Men IMHO.

Ever read Bill Bryson's "Down Under"? Very funny!

    • No, what's it about? (I'm reading SWM, btw).

      • More of the same ranting, but a lot more focused on Bush....ie, how he rigged the election, the war, republicanism, etc, etc. I've heard it said that he stretches the truth a bit, but you never know who to believe when politics and power is involved.

        • "Guns, Germs, and Steel" by Jared Diamond (great for Civ players since it deals with the history of civilisation) and "The 158 Pound Marriage" by John Irving. I'm not sure what's next.

Ah yes, but what's "Down Under" about? Cunnilingus ?

            • 158 Pound Marriage is good, if I remember correctly from a few years ago (Irving is generally very good, and the later his books the better in my opinion).

I've heard of Diamond, I'll keep my eye out for a copy...

You're kidding! I'm reading Guns, Germs and Steel too right now! Very interesting read.

The Clash of Civilizations by Samuel Huntington is also a good one, though I'm still barely half way through it.

Ah yes, sorry, silly me. It's one of these travelogues, about Australia of course (though a travel book about Cunnilingus would also be fascinating). He's an American who's lived in England and travels around wirting about his travels. Quite entertaining, and good light quick reading for plane flights and lazing by the pool. I find his dry cynical style very amusing and more Australian than American.

                  • Wow, that's a strange coincidence. Actually, I'm reading it for the second time because English books are expensive/hard to get here in Korea. Luckily I have a bad memory so reading a book twice is never boring for me. ^^ I've heard of Bill Bryson but never read anything by him. I might pick up one of his books if I ever see one.
