Too much civ last night to get up in time?

By the way, have we agreed to any rules and etiquette for this game? Are we allowed to contact other players before we have met them in the game, for example?

I'd say no contact before in-game contact, no use of various allied player exploits (unit warping, double use of units, etc.), but that should be about it.

I'd agree with Arnelos. I suppose I wouldn't disagree with unit warping in very isolated circumstances, ie if you've been conquered on one continent and agree to leave that continent ... but not regularly. Perhaps could just say "alliances and any other relations that are available in-game must be in-game and in good faith." That covers a lot and is pretty reasonable imho ...

Beta is here - but I have had limited Poly time due to RL work demands. Also - my 1.22 dual install went on the fritz. I cannot access my 1.22 saves. I need to work at it - and won't be able to get to it until tomorrow. My apologies folks.
