No, Gramps is alrerady in that one. Looks like Beta just invited Gramps into his 46th game, C3C classics.

          • I'll be gone on the 6th and 7th. I may not be able to get to any PBEMs accumulated during that time till the evening of the 8th.

                • Double Dutch

Wanted: ambitious, reliable PBEM professional to fill position in experimental game. Proficiency at playing the Dutch a plus. Post here stating interest level, listing references and salary requirements.

[This is to replace con in an experimental game. Even with the complex tribe selection process (and ample whinging on his part ;-), he ended up with arguably the best Civ. The other part of the experiment is a limit on communication: out of game communication may only take place in the tracker thread. Adventurous spirits only need apply.]
Enjoy Slurm - it's highly addictive!

Considering this limitation, I'll also require a blood oath that you will not be taking more than a 48 hour holiday from your responsibilitities over the next year, OR ELSE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY GAMES WILL GRIND TO A HALT...

Sadly, no. After two weeks he gets replaced by force, I'm afraid.

                                Speaking of which. This game:

needs a replacement for smellymummy. He was playing America.

It's a diplomacy game, meaning heavy focus on roleplaying, and a bit less on killing each other. Not much happened yet, as it's in very early stages (3650 BC). You can find additional info about the setup in the game threads.

                                EDIT: Replacement found.
