The Expansionist trait ensures that no Barbarians will come from huts popped either scouts/workers or miltary units.
hmm,I always assumed you got better results (more favourable) by popping huts with the explorer then with a 'standard' unit (both expansionist).
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

Yes, the results are more favorable; as in you have no chances at poping Barbarians, so the other chances of getting something good go up. There's still the chance that the Hut will be deserted, but overall, the chances for getting a "good" thing increases when you have the Expansionist trait. These chances stay the same whether a scout or a military unit does the poping with an Expansionist Civ.
