Solver your avatar has a new show starting tomorrow, just in case you had not heard or care.

If I was not buying it for MP (which I am) then I am buying it for

      increased number of units,
increased amount of editor function - you can customise more to your liking Cidifer.
      increased amount of wonders,
      better graphics,
      improved game play. (promised)

miccofl, I sympathise with memory thing. I have 512MB with 2.8GHz processor, I will certainly be buying 512MB more for PTW expansion.

Civ isn't a RTS, atleast I don't think so. Civ is a turn based strategythat doesn't make you build a tank yard, just to build a tank.

yeah but if your playing in simultanious mode or whatever it's called it's kind of like a RTS I suppose.

Uhmm I thought it's the actor that has shows, not my avatar .

Firaxis has said that turnless isn't exactly like RTS, but from what I read, the idea doesn't appeal to me much. Sure, it will solve the issue of games taking many and many hours, but IMO, it just takes away the main thing in Civ - turns. There are no turns, and you actually need to use some sort of speed to do what you do, you can't now sit there considering your options for 40 minutes.

I have already paid for it. I will pick it up Friday around 1 PM.
The new stuff is good enough for me.
