I never play at work. Not even Sollitaire (like the majority of my female collegues ).

However, posting on Apolyton is a completely different story

It would be nice if they had a cell phone with Civ 3 on it...LOL or better yet if they had a version for the Gameboy Advance

Hey wait a minute...Firaxis may be able to make their own version of a handheld CIV game. It could be the size of a gameboy

It sure does. After all, school is your occupation in the absence of a paying job.

I want a version of Civ2 for the Pocket PC (CivIII would only be viable scaled way way down.

Hey, if there is Simcity 2k, why not Civ2?

I am my own boss and I never play at work. It would be as bad as drinking at work (which is when you know you are really addicted to alcohol).

If I see an employee play at work during work hours, I would give one warning and no other.

I request that my employees leave their desks and take one hour at lunch time, so playing it at lunch is not an option for them!

Never played Civ III at work. But at my old job, coworkers and I used to play Civ II (Multiplayer Gold Edition) when things were slow. It was nice because you could play your move, and then Alt-Tab and get some work done as you were waiting for your move again.

We never got caught. Bosses sat in a different building entirely. And a quick instant message went out to all players if anybody spotted one.

DANG...! I'm a supervisor, and I let my employees play games on the computers when they're not busy. (includes lunch) Of course, they realize that If I need them for something the guy on the computer is fair game....

My work is too frantic to play anything. I don't think I've had a coffee break that wasn't a business meeting in months. But I do lurk on Apolyton at lunch for about 10 minutes every day - while I am actually eating. I figure a boss can't complain that any time has been wasted that way. It's just like the fact that if you eat ice cream standing up you don't gain as much weight.

Of course, if I auto-deleted all my personal e-mail instead of reading it and replying, I could probably afford to go for coffee at least once in a while
