Back to the buttons, I would say that it's useful when you hover your mouse over it. It would show how many turns it will take to perform a certain worker action. Quite good when your workers are still slow and you have a limited number of them.Comment

What I'd like to have is a "wake all x type units"; for example "wake all artileries" or "wake all bombers". Since I go to war quite rarely, I usually fortify these in different cities and then I have to wake them one-by-one.
