  • stacking units?

A couple people in this thread talked about stacking units? What is that? Simply being able to put multiple units on the same square?

Or has some new ability been added? If so what is it? How is it done?

There is stacked movement with the 1.21 patch and later that allows you to move all awake units of the same type within a square CTRL-J rather than CTRL-G (move a single unit).
We need seperate human-only games for MP/PBEM that dont include the over-simplifications required to have a good AI

      Wow, excellent! More tedium removed.

Can you do this selectively, say move all my mounted units in a group and then all other units in another move?

Does this apply to attacks as well? How does that plan out? Do they attack one after the other until they are all dead or have a victory?

      Thanks

sorry I see from rereading your reply that you do selectively move them.

Its better than nothing but not as good as stacked movement of a group of different units. That maybe coming in PtW, but I'm not sure.

IIRC, stacked movement of different units is confirmed by Firaxis. It will even work for naval units.
