You are correct. False premises can lead to true conclusions (1=2, 2=1, so 1=1). The converse is also true, when the true premises are connected by fallacies.

Oh really? Good luck! You're going to need it.

Hell, if we examin {1} and {2} as symbols devoid of their mathmatical meaning, there isn't even a false premis here. For instance: {1} is a number (1=#) {2} is a number (2=#) therfore (1=2), and also (1=1)...

        • Well, just had a lovely young woman in the house for many hours playing civIII on my computer. Not sure how to take that... Anyway, found it interesting how she went about learning. Picked tiny map, 1 other civ, chiefton level, disabled all victory conditions but conquest and score, and proceeded to monkey around, with a bit of at times unsolicited and "shhsh'ed" advice from the 2 guys present. Don't know if this is a female thing, or just her.

By the way...Ladies! Oh ladies! Where are the ladies? Panag, your not a lady. are you?
"Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you." No they don't! They're just nerve stapled.

"If numbers have no mathematical meaning"

Good example of a faulty premise.
