adding new units

Just took a peek at the editor.

There seems to be no way to add new units?
There no "add" button.
Renaming and cancelling doesn't work either.

Does anyone have a clue?

Good patch. I hope I don't find bugs in it though. It gave me something to do in the downtime of Apolyton.

installed patch.

i get ther message:
pelase insert the CIVIII CD in the drive.

Of course the CD is in and its a retail version.

sigh...

Yeah that was long downtime. If it wasn't for Asher I wouldn't have known about the patch either.

Someone at Civfanatics had the same problem, I think you have to have the cd in the same drive you installed Civ3 from. Or else there was a path in the registry you could change, can't tell you where in the registry though. Check Civfanatics if it doesn't work out for you.

Perhaps, but it seems like a bad idea to me...

Here it is, it is Venger who had the same problem, he seem to have fixed it.

What's happening here?

I've just downloaded from the link above and tried to start a new game:

1) on the main screen there's still 1.17f, no sign of 1.21f
2) I CAN'T START A NEW GAME. THAT OPTION IS DEAD !!!!
(can reload old games though)

WHAT'S WRONG?

Luckily I generally don't use my quad speed. But it is still a nuisance.
