Get to UN ASAP. I'm going SpaceShip ASAP. Too many civs hate me.
Must be my winning pesonality.
Thanks for the advice, NYE, but I'm in a war with Americans who have had RoP agreements with several civs and now have trade embargoes against me (by civs who HAD no trade with me, of course).
I'm not into RoPs, personally. And last time I tried a UN vote, I lost it and ended up reloading. I prefer to learn my lesson and cheat just the once. I have many turns to go, regardless.
Who knows, perhaps I'll just update to 1.21 and keep on going!
You could bribe everyone into alliance vs the Americans. Breaks the trade embargos (maybe not?). Makes them hate the Yankee more than you probably. Then give them stuff and they'll love you. Kinda cheesy, I only use it too bail on games I don't want to continue. For that matter, I can prolly bail on my current game the same way. Only have to give 1 civ the 3 cities I took from them and get them into a war with No2 civ. Then I can hold the vote the next time the option pops up. Of course, I'm only a few turns from the final SS tech. Babble.

It really pissed me off when activision dropped support of ctp2 after just a few months.
Activision has been on a dropped support for anything lately. Except for some sarcastic remarkes from the progammers (example: "If you have 256MB of RAM, get more RAM if you want to load from a save file! We have 512MB"), no real support or answers on technical problems have been adressed for JK2.
I have more faith in firaxis right now then any other computer gamming company out right now.
I drink to one other, and may that other be he, to drink to another, and may that other be me!

Even if firaxis's first shot at it was slightly rushed, they are clearly working to fix it. Why shouldn't we have faith in them?
What have they told you they have been working on for the last couple of months.....nothing.
I like the game and everything they have done, but I also like to be kept informed, especially when we know that there are many things wrong with the game.
Plus how do we know they won't change something we like? We don't.
Faith is a relative term.
Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!
