The Persians are crushed in nearly every game I play (unless I am them
). Otherwise they become too powerful with their nifty unit and good civ traits.
The Romans OTOH are a civ I almost always try to "keep alive" till the end-game, usually unsuccessfully as they declare war on me while being attacked by other civs.
French should be on my hit-list more, but just aren't.

After that, the Iroquois which are even less of a civ than the Americans which I play, then the French just because they are French.

Just as a rule, for life in general not just Civ, never turn your back on those evil krauts. They always start wars with me, and I always kick their ass. That is all that the krauts can do , start wars and then get their asses kicked.Comment
