"Capitalism ho!"
Oh, probably 99.9%. I was just throwing in the odd Douglas Adams reference to keep things lively. I mean, there's a question out there to which 42 is the answer. I thought maybe that was it....
I want it to sell well. Because the more people buy it the more likeley they will fix all the little problems with it Just look at Half Life there patches just keep comiing and they add ne features. So hopefully over time Frax will fix all the little problems with Civ 3
I have walked since the dawn of time and were ever I walk, death is sure to follow. As surely as night follows day.
I don't know how well it is selling, but I have seen a price drop at the local stores. All the places I have seen Civ3 at have it at $5-10 less than when it was released. This game could be down to $30 by years-end. Looks like an attempt by Infogrames to keep Civ3 up in the best sellers. Didn't expect this kind of price cutting until MOO3 release.

officially the price is still $45
The Walmart price is $34.95, that is down from $44.95 just before Thanksgiving. The signing was the Walmart "Price Rollback" sign. This usually indicates Walmart has gotten a rebate or price adjustment from the manufacturer, which they pass on to the consumer. Walmart does not lower prices unless they get some sort of break from the manufacturer.

RETURN TO CASTLE WOLFENSTEIN PC is still dominating the top 3 at #1. WIZARDRY 8 PC is new and at #2. CIVILIZATION III PC has climbed up the ladder and is resting comfortably in the #3 position.
maybe on chips and bits, but lets see how civ3 fares on the real real polls shall we...i mean how accurate is chips and bits? they don't even have Harry Sims Tycoon!
