customisability: the patch

Here´s quite an interesting article, which everyone here has undoubtedly read already:

So it looks like they are serious about the customisability and they are ready to make some serious additions. Now let´s just hope that comes in a free patch, not a $50 update

I certainly believe it would/should since it was planned all along but because Infogrames (it's always the French, isn't it? ) forced an early deadline, it didn't make it. Also contributing to this, I believe, is stated in my signature.
