Can Great Leader be captured?

On the subject of great leaders, i hope that they are shown in the replay.

From what I've seen, you can capture them and then use them. That's reward enough. You cannot ransom them back to the original Civ. Then again, maybe a trade could occur in the diplomacy screen..............
