    I can't say I was interested in MP until a few months ago when I started to play SMAC PBeM and suddenly my eyes were opened. Playing against someone, talking to them, trying to eliminate them and avoiding being eliminated by them is a wonderful gaming experience that the AI cannot recreate. I know how to beat the computer but I don't know how to beat every human being. That is the challenge. Competing against someone allows me to see how good or bad I am at a game.

    Whereas I have no problem with masturbation there comes a time when involving someone else makes life very sweet.

      I only play multiplayer games now because it is so much better. But I would never pay extra for it.
