          I was wondering, has anyone actually got an email from Firaxis after filling out that email update form on the www.civ3.com site? Cause I filled it out when the site first launched and everything I know comes from good old Apolyton.

            You are right, I signed up the day it opened also, and I haven't got a single email. I get all the info from here!!!

                thats where i was looking, but i no longer saw the relsease date posted (it used to be there). did i overlook it?

                  All I know is, it isn't going to ship with multiplayer, and I am fine with that, because I really just want to get my hands on the game!!!

                    Well it is officially gold now and I for one cannot wait for it's release! I feel like I have been waiting for this game forever and now I see the light at the end of the tunnel!
