This wonder keeps your army up to date,no need to build new defence units when the other ones become obsolete.(just a shame it only works for a certain timespan)

        • Shade, I think that the upgrade of Cavalry to Armour and Fighter to Stealth Fighter would have been a little too severe...

          • Why not,
armor=horse with heavy iron plating(like the idea) ,gun from the person gets switched for a bazooka??I think it might give a hillaric view.

            • Having just watched a TLC program about the great lighthouse at Alexandria:

I love the fact that the great lighthouse art actually looks like the way archeologists have uncovered it to look.

geez, don't mind THAT sentence structure.. it's late..

Why, does someone have a pic of you getting onto the internet?

                Sorry, couldn't resist.

Not all of us who connect to the internet are dorks; well some of us are.

                  • Here's a quote from the last Ask-the-Civ update:

While your choice of government does not directly affect the production of culture, the editor allows you to assign a required government type to wonders and city improvements, effectively making a particular government more conducive to culture generation.
Does this possibly mean that certain government types might be required to build certain wonders or improvements?

                    • Maybe and Yes.

Maybe:because they don't say it is so for all construcions, they only say that constructions that influence culture are NOT prohibited because you have the wrong governement.BUT they don't tell if there are any other constructions(eg millitary,...)that are connected to a governement.

Yes:they tell you surely can do so with an editor, but they don't say if they did.

clear enough(even with horrible spelling and grammar )

                            • Remove the unknown monarchy wonder, we know it is Hanging Gardens.

This Ask the Civ Team is a better link for Military Academy and Pentagon.

If PC Zone Benelux is correct then we have 12 small wonders, of which we have evidence for all 12, while there are 20 great wonders of which we have evidence for 19.
