I am very concerned about the advisor and wonder movies
I agree with paiktis. I prefer animated leaders and advisors over wonder movies and advisor movies. CGI can do some good things.
GP, stop Yinning .

Would you rather watch a cartoon or a real movie. Are you over 18?!?!?!
Let's see, I am 18. Can I answer?
I have seen a ton of movies this summer and most say that the best one I have seen is the animated Shrek. Funny and irreverent, it is a fairy tale that will actually make you laugh outloud in the theatres. It simply kills JP3, Tomb Raider, DRD2, AI, Mulan Rouge, Swordfish, Planet of the Apes, Rush Hour 2, American Pie 2, and all the rest of them. And the best show on television year after year continues to be the highly satirical Simpsons. So, I guess I would prefer to watch cartoons.
On the other hand I would like to see wonder movies make a comeback and I think they will. Has Firaxis said they were out?
All I got to say is that the videos need to be better than CtP's. The movies in that game weren't worth watching even once.
About 24,000 people die every day from hunger or hunger-related causes. With a simple click daily at the Hunger Site you can provide food for those who need it.
Yup. 4 years in HS. It's been a while, but my brother and I go sometimes. Not so often since his toe got lopped off. First year (grade 7) I weighed in at an astonishing *drum roll* 79 pounds. I managed to work my way up to 145 by grade 11, and I've put on an extra 15 pounds since then (not much fat, luckily). Oh yeah...to make sure this isn't spam (and 'cause it's true) I agree that the live-action is superior to animation, especially in the historical context. Animation worked quite well in SMAC, however. Those SMAC videos always gave me the chills...
I concur with you on the need for live action (silver halide!!) film sequences and BTW insert that I probably would get pinned...
I'm up to 195 but about 40 pounds is excess. The weight and my general meanness would help...but I kinda have a feelling that a young guy who knows what he's doing could take me no prob...
ever box? I did that for a couple seasons at school...hated it actually.
I think I could last more than 20 seconds though!!!
i wrestled this big Chinese muscle dude a few weeks ago...

They were...different. Civ 2 feels like you're replaying history. It's familiar and feels comfortable if you have a general historical background to work from. SMAC's videos were almost philosophical, as was the entire game. Specifically, they dealt with the way technology and society affect one another. All in all, they paint a commendably realistic picture.
Never boxed. Did kickbox for a little while (read 8 months), but I didn't enjoy it too much, so I quit. Won the three street fights I've been in, but I was hardly using Marquis of Queensbury rules.
I get the feeling that any halfway decent boxer could take me to pieces, even though I have a decent reach for my weight (I'm 5'11 or so).
My real fave is rugby, though. I was addicted from the moment I saw my first compound fracture.
So...which one's are prettier. I really think for a nebie the Civ2 stuff is stunning. Which would impress a newbie more: civ2 real footage or SMAC stuff?
boxing is a bit of a gut check. good even if you're not good at it. Boxing college-age athletes is different from a school-yard fight. (The boxing is tougher...IMHO)
I was pretty mediocre. but felt good about passing the "check".
