The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I agree with PH.
I hardly ever win the game in CTP by building and completing the alienlabarotory/-wonder. Just too silly.
One of the things I like about CIV is that it's about real history, things I can relate to.

I haven't said it before, so here it comes: Give us some Sci-fi in Civ3
I like Sci-fi, if it just seems a little realistic, but then since not all want it, it could be optional!
That was the thing I didn't like about Previously Civ games: When you have invented all things we have invented today the game ends...ok the game doesn't actually end, but when you have got all inventions there's only 1 thing to do, to destroy the enemies, since there at that time there's no more room for more cities :banned:
No Aliens in Civ3 except as a scenario. Same goes for SciFI units, too. The new units in Tot extended game seemed very unbalancing to me. Furthermore the aliens being isolated were always way behind technically. . . in a well designed scenario on the other hand aliens and SciFi can be fun.

However saying that, the Alpha Centauri mission is something that is conceivable, that if we applied ourselves to with a bit more technology, we could achieve.
Even if not necessarily ending the game like this, perhaps a martian or moon colony should be the victory condition...
