Chariots. Why?

    Yes, SirOsis, thanks... you reminded me.

    The early discussion on this thread was about upgrade strats. Let us remember two other GREAT things for Chariots to do:

    1) Early exploration as non-EXP.

    2) Pillaging. It took me a fair while to always remember that improvements NOT in AI civs' territory is fair game... and think about how devastating it is early in the game to destroy such, especially roads connecting resources. And you very much want a 2-move unit to get max effect. In other words:

    "MWAHAHAHA!!! You silly 5-tile CP AI!! Your towns will never trade!! "
    The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

      Just no time for chariots

      I think most people just dont get the chance to use the Chariot Unit. What with needing a Good Opening Base and settler production, By the time your ready to start making some decent troops you've invented Horseback riding and you have the Horses in your resource box,
