I never played with these victory conditions on, but from what I've understood, the AI is stupid with them, and cannot wage a regicide properly.

I don't play multiplayer, so why could't I use it? If the AI is too strong then that is a good thing unless you mean it cheats. The hint book wich I picked up for $12.00 canadian says the Ai dosn't cheat except it knows the whole location of the map and where everything is loacated (ie resources).
