updating for 2950 BC. oh you have things in nice italics. I'll have to fix that. Apolyton seems slow unfortunately.

edit: I made a few changes to military. Just to show the support costs and our army size and allowed size.

I also left room for Armies and Great Leaders

Other ideas. This is just a rough draft. Not pretty.

      Trade:

      Current Trade status:

      Gathering Storm:
      Connected by: Nothing
      Current trades: none

      New Demo:
      Connected by: Nothing
      Current trades: none

      Warmongers:
      Connected by: Nothing
      Current trades: none

      Roleplay:
      Connected by: Nothing
      Current trades: none

      Lux Invicta:
      Connected by: Nothing
      Curent trades: none

      Lege:
      Connected by: Nothing
      Current trades: none

The main thing I want to use this for is to see what trade routes we have available. This could be usefull later on as we evaluate what effect wars and such will have. The whole team will know what luxeries/resources we would be losing if we went to war.

      Another possible page.

      Wonders of the world:

We can list who owns what wonder. This could also be useful when evaulating the effects of wars and such.

Don't you just love the ability of editing other peoples posts?!

IMO, it is a GREAT option for diplomacy games.

I was thinking we should revisit Eli's original idea to see what we might want to add or change. To start with - we need to have our threaties in one place. I have added the Lego treaty, and will piece together the GS treaty from the various threads later. I have also updated the FA contacts, as I know them to be now.

Does anyone have other suggestions? Do we want to do a formal reporting process such as used by Lego? (and the ISDG game)?

Do we simply want to streamline this chart. Something along the lines Diss has suggested for keeping track of trades. As the primary player over the last long while - (and we should discuss that as well) - it takes some time to play the turn, and post a commentary. Having to update a detailed chart constantly would add to the work load. But if there is key info we should have centralized, let's hear about it.

I am still of the view that with having a small team, a simple commentary, screen shots and sending the save around to all should suffice for a lot of the info sharing.

                  Comments? Thought?

The centralized info is nice, but if it takes too much time for just one player to do then it is not too conducive to actual playing. I'd just as soon see the save emailed to people so they can see for themselves what is going on. However, the foreign affairs should probably be adapted when it changes as that is something that you can't see in the save game. If you need someone to take on a little bit of that I could probably help you out, though I'd need you to bring me up to speed on how you usually go about it.

Also, please edit my email to the new rhothaerill@comcast.net address. Thanks.

Rhoth - the other thing you should know about the closed forum is that you can edit anything posted by anybody. A bit of a Poly bug, but we have all learned to live with it. It has its advantages - we can all edit the thread ov everything. But i have changed your e-mail.

a saved email will work for me, but I don't want to play a turn

if someone will send me one I will try and be active once more (I know it has been over a year...)

I still don't want to play (I am afraid I will screw something up), and I am not one to make sure everything runs perfectly (like some here, which I am glad for) but I can at least comment and post ideas

Yep when the current turn plyers get a chance put me on the list for the save, I cant see myself getting too involved at this point but would like to occassionally contribute.

                            My email was added

Somehow I missed Jon's post. I'll send a PM to Togas right now asking him to add both Jon and Con to the distribution. I'll go ahead and have Harry removed too since he has not posted in the forum for months.

EDIT: PM has been sent to Togas.

I added my name as well. I suppose I shouldn't be one of the "players" until I've a little more experience here, unless you need the help. I'm basically on at the same exact time as Beta (coincidentally), so I probably don't provide a whole lot in terms of additional play times.
