Ok - in case you have not heard, DR has withdrawn from the game. (Can't say i blame them. I chatted with Moonbars this evening, and he says it was done democratically, and that most folks are just fed up with the BOH bull$hit. They have also agreed to remain silent on the whole thing, and I think that may be the most effective way of delivering the message.)
I have talked with Lord Nuclear - I asked him what he WANTS to do, pull out, or continue playing under some strategy that gives us a viable chance of winning. He prefers to play. As do I. The options:
#1 So, if AM and BOH agree to gang up on the two of us, it is game over. We pull out, and pull out fast. This is option #1.
There are two scenarios which may work with the remaining teams.
#2. AM sees the light of day and joins us and LB in the crusade againts BOH. This might be the silver lining in DR's demise - it may be a wake up call to AM. because if they are thinking of allying with BOH against LB and ourselves, we simply tell them it will be adios for LB and babylon, they can go 1-on-1 with BOH. So their actions - much as they have done to-date, have simply solidified BOH's position. The problem here is that I don't know if Oars-in-mud and Shrimp-Boy are intelligent emough to figure this out. Lord Nuke and I were thinking of trying to get hme into chat, where he and I may be able to talk some sense into them.
#3 We talk BOH into an alliance against AM. We attack AM along with BOH. We take it 'easy' on the attack, and build units like the little hamster-factory we are. LB does the same. When AM is rolled up, we agree with BOH to take out LB, where of course, we will doublecross them.
#3 may work, because the disaster of the thread the other night, and the DR pull out may have them looking for some level of 'respectability' in this game, and who better to give them a sense of all that is fair and noble in the world, but us Babylonians (less Shogun and Con of course). I may be waaay of base here, but this may actually work. It has the added benefit of seeing AM get roasted.
That's about the only realistic (using the term loosely given the events of this game) options I could see.
Thoughts???
