  • What Next in EoD??

Ok - in case you have not heard, DR has withdrawn from the game. (Can't say i blame them. I chatted with Moonbars this evening, and he says it was done democratically, and that most folks are just fed up with the BOH bull$hit. They have also agreed to remain silent on the whole thing, and I think that may be the most effective way of delivering the message.)

I have talked with Lord Nuclear - I asked him what he WANTS to do, pull out, or continue playing under some strategy that gives us a viable chance of winning. He prefers to play. As do I. The options:

#1 So, if AM and BOH agree to gang up on the two of us, it is game over. We pull out, and pull out fast. This is option #1.

There are two scenarios which may work with the remaining teams.

#2. AM sees the light of day and joins us and LB in the crusade againts BOH. This might be the silver lining in DR's demise - it may be a wake up call to AM. because if they are thinking of allying with BOH against LB and ourselves, we simply tell them it will be adios for LB and babylon, they can go 1-on-1 with BOH. So their actions - much as they have done to-date, have simply solidified BOH's position. The problem here is that I don't know if Oars-in-mud and Shrimp-Boy are intelligent emough to figure this out. Lord Nuke and I were thinking of trying to get hme into chat, where he and I may be able to talk some sense into them.

#3 We talk BOH into an alliance against AM. We attack AM along with BOH. We take it 'easy' on the attack, and build units like the little hamster-factory we are. LB does the same. When AM is rolled up, we agree with BOH to take out LB, where of course, we will doublecross them.

#3 may work, because the disaster of the thread the other night, and the DR pull out may have them looking for some level of 'respectability' in this game, and who better to give them a sense of all that is fair and noble in the world, but us Babylonians (less Shogun and Con of course). I may be waaay of base here, but this may actually work. It has the added benefit of seeing AM get roasted.

That's about the only realistic (using the term loosely given the events of this game) options I could see.

    Thoughts???

Fall back on the Capitol and give it our best shot.

You can try diplomacy, but I have little hope. Did we play the save today?

Frankly, from the Bear's point of view, I no longer care about our AM grudge. I want to torch BOH and nobody else.

I would let AM walk over us in order to screw the Horde.

      Eff the Horde.

You did the right thing, BTW, attacking AM. Attack anybody and go down fighting. Stop torching cities. Just attack, attack, attack. I am no longer in favor of playing for survival. Just attack and go down fighting.

Chronicles to come soon. I am way behind on where the story is. I'm resorting to making notes in order not to forget things.

I'm pretty shook up by the DR thing. I respected those guys.

Make up your mind what you want to do then. You cant have a constant attack attack attack, and hope to go out in a blaze of glory. Sooner or later your enemy will capture a city and pop rush a barracks and then you make there job easier.

If you really want to "go out in a blaze of glory", then :

        1. Concentrate your forces in one location.

        2. Wait for A-M or the Horde to get next to you.

        3. Let them have it.

The last attack went well but our forces were NOT concentrated. If they were we might have dealt a very lasting blow to A-M, we hurt them but they can retreat, heal and fill in with some replacements and they are right back to where they were, we in contrast can not replace those MI's.

Thats my opinion but war against humans is all about having equal or better units and having concentration of units hence the SoD.

I think Beta's option #2 is best ... but of course, this means that AM actually does join us against BoH and I consider that a long shot.

See my PM to Orm in the AM correspondence thread here at Vox. I will not post it in Babylon.

Well, the way I see it is that your survival is our survival as well.

In my recent poll, I find that BOH edges out AM by .007 of a point for most wanted to screw over...
