The Horde helped by drawing our forces east, as I suspected. They were just DYING for us to try and hold Kurra.

We need to play this smart, if we dont get a good answer from A_M, burn and move to babs.

Bring that bowman back from sentinel duty, if you want waste one of those warriors on that mountain to the NW.

No attack because there are just too many MI's and the horse army, we cant put up a good enough attack to effectively take dowm the stack, consolidate forces first in babs.

Thats fine about attacking but right now you have already just about "shot our wad" without any way of replacing the MI's, without bringing our full force to bare and now we have to wait for our units to heal. If the Horde shows up in the east what then?

My goal was to concentrate forces before the end.

If your goal was different (trying to stay alive) thats fine, buit with the BS diplomacy and constant double crosses in this game I seriously doubt if that will work?

Anyway good job, but if we dont get help soon, you will not be able to maintain that kind of an attack potential, A-M is building iron and horse units, we are not.

With DR leaving, the game situation and dynamics change once again. If DR had stayed and joined an alliance with Babylon and LB, it would have been interesting to see what would have happened.

So, we are now at a critical point. And I need to be very direct about this. We need to unite against BOH. Pure and simple. If AM continues its attacks on Babylon, and BOH joins in, we will exit the game as well. And if we exit, Lord Nuclear says that he will exit too. That will leave you and BOH, and BOH will win. That is pretty clear.

Or if you continue your attacks on babylon, and BOH sits by and strengthens its military, or attacks LB, the situation will still be hopeless for both ourselves, and Lost Boys, and we will exit the game.

For the game to continue in a way that makes any sense to continue it, we need a coalition.

We need peace between us, and our iron back to build a military that can go face-to-face with BOH. And all three of us, AM, LB, and Babylon, need to develop trust and co-operation. That is really the only way the game can continue.

We can draw up an alliance that provides for "x" number of turns of peace after BOH is eliminated (if in fact the three of us can do it - I have my doubts), in order that no one is backstabbed during or at the end of the BOH war.

Lord Nuclear and I are available to chat at your or Krill's convenience if you want to discuss futher. But we had better do it soon.

I wonder if our recent attack on the SOD is more likely to cause them to not want to ally or to push them into an alliance.

If that stack attacks Zariqum next turn, it is pretty well curtains.

It has appeared to me for awhile that they are playing for 2nd place, which would mean that they will finish us off.

If they do go for it, we should wait until the right time and divert enough troops for a serious PEARL HARBOR attack on A-M when they are engaged with BoH. Now that would just be plain sweet.

Diplomaticaly I agree. That would only serve to weaken us further. Last turn already cost a future alliance 15 units.

Militarily - I don't think they can take the city. They will chew up units, and unless they have reserves to bring up for defence, we should be able to counterattack. As I said, we have 11 units set to attack next turn. However, again, we will have simply weakened our alliance further.

They have a big decision to make, they have to be wondering what we have in Zar to launch such an attack. They risk a lot of Trebuchets, it should be interesting to see what they do. If they have reinforcements close they may attack again, if not they may pul out and heal.

Yep - chatted with the Crustacean himself this evening. They will not give up any captured territory in an alliance, but they will gift us iron for the entire length of a BOH war. I said this was OK with us, and followed it up with a PM to both him and Ormuzd.

EoD Coalition - Follow-up
Krill - to confirm our conversation of tonight via MSN chat, a peace deal and alliance where AM does not give up any of its holdings, but does agree to 'gift' babylon iron during the duration of a war against BOH, is OK by us. ....Beta.

We shall see. My note to Ormuzd also explained the folly of continuing to fight over Zariqum.
