  • Thanks for playing the turn Rhoth. I'm still trying to figure out whether it is the computer or the disc. Both seem to be having problems, and I was going to test the disc on the other computer and its disc drive crapped out.

    I'm curious where you settled the new cities.

    And I will get on some diplomacy in the next day or two.

    • Sorry, I forgot to do a screenshot before I sent it on. Both cities were settled with your plan. Lego Memorial is SE of New Lands and The Limit (as in...limit of expansion for now ) is SE of Wittlich Canal.

        Well, I got my disc working - but I am not taking any chances. Picked up another copy of ptw for $9.99 today (and that is Canadian $'s)

          - Escaped out of ND's offer of Deluge again.
          - GoW offers rocketry and their WM-accepted. I accept (we'll have aluminum outside one of our new cities on the former Lego peninsula).
          - New Lands finished courthouse. Start Forbidden Palace.
          - Lux Invicta finishes barracks. Start factory (can change to tank later if you want)
          - New Voice finishes tank. Start tank.
          - Memory finishes barracks. Start factory (see above).
          - Change Phoenix to build factory.
          - WF in Hope from mountain to coast. (settler next turn)
          - Rush library in Lego Memorial.
          - Rush library in The Limit.
          - Sent 250 gold-accepted to GoW as part of payment for Rocketry. As far as I can tell from the GoW FAM thread we should have been sending them some gold these past few turns for this tech.

              - Killing the Lego transport still causes the game to crash. They won't leave the game unless they land somewhere. Beta can you get back to H_E about that since I believe he asked if we wanted to kill off Lego this turn.

                  • Bombers are actually one of the more versatile units in the game. They have bombard capability, but aren't limited by the range of the artillery-type bombards (though they're less powerful).

                            • how is the war going?

                              maybe we should step in and mess with ND? (despite the fact that they are ~our allies)

                              from the looks of things if nothing is done, shortly ND and GoW will win

                              we are much better off if there is no clear winner...

                              maybe it is too late for that, if it is, than we should ally formally with ND/GoW and end the game in the winner's circle
