My repsonse to Krill of GS:

1. Didn't get Industrialization this turn.

2. In terms of what we have, we will have 8 Conquistadores on 2 Galleons shortly. Until we get our Factories up (the prebuilds for which have already started), we won't have much else to offer aside from MONEY.

3. We are currently getting horses from a hanging deal of horses for a measly 5 gpt from Vox Controli. I think Togas' rationale for keeping the agreement has been that it maintains the veneer that we're going to continue to play nice with Lego/Vox. The fact that they haven't asked for any increase in the token 5 gpt sum is also interesting, considering that our actual income is at about 150 gpt right now.

Lemme know what you guys need. I'm sending money as we make it.

Sorry for not getting back to you on this earlier. You sent it a week or so ago when I was hellishly busy and not keeping up with the PTWDG.

Anyhow, let us know what you guys would want for Communism. I don't believe we have any technology to offer you and we only have our own single source of our sole luxury, so that isn't a terribly good option, either. It would seem that, again, money would be our primary (and perhaps only) means of payment.

Hi Arnelos,

Paying us with money for the tech is fine with us. How about 500gold? You could pay in lump sum and gpt payment as necessary.

We would need a 20 turn NDA deal on it as well.

If this sounds good to you we can complete the deal next turn as I've already sent the 1010ad turn off.

Ok, I'll get back to you on that. Gotta check with the team to see if they want it at all, really. With such a tiny civilization, it's unlikely we'd even be using the tech. That said, as a contingency (in case we get our homeland back some day! ) it might be nice.

Krill,

Vox has offered us Communism, but their initial asking price is 500 gold. I'm of a mind to think that we can probably wait until you guys can send it to us (when your NTA wears off) rather than pay them 500g for it now (since we wouldn't even start a police station until after our factories are done anyhow).

Police Stations will help with WW under our democracy, but corruption doesn't mean anything to us, so we would only need them during wartime (since we have only 1 luxury and on the edge of maintaining order as things are now).

What thoughts do you have on the issue and have you already obtained Communism from Vox?

After numerous replays of the save, the game is finally going again.

This turn we sent you 200g. I think during the mess of replays we didn't send you 100.

Also, we have Democracy. We aquired it from Vox, however, we're unsure why GS doesn't also have it. Do you have plans to aquire it yourself? Do you want us to gift it? It's unclear if there's a NDA as our deal with Vox was very informal.

I reread through the diplomacy thread. Arnelos was handling it for a while and
he had a deal in place with GS to aquire Rep Parts, but it appears that the deal
would go through AFTER the NDA with you guys ran out. I wouldn't mind getting it
sooner.

I'd really like to upgrade our rifles to Infantry. For that, we need rubber. If
you can include rubber in the trade, we'll do it. If not, the tech really
doesn't do us any good and we may as well wait for later.

And, what could be the benefit of these luxuries in regard of our current situation ? Isn't too early to have them ?

We agree to the deal by supplying you rubber. However, so as to not arouse suspicion we would prefer to delay on the rubber until you absolutely need it and then quickly cancel the deal. So, if it is ok with you, just e-mail or PM me the turn you want the rubber and we’ll send it accepted.

Funny you should ask. I just posted a shot of our F1 screen in the Turn Results thread. That'll give you all the info you need.

We need them. Monterrey is using an entertainer and is not growing. If we add more pop to any of the cities except San Antonio, they'll go into disorder. We have some fantastic growth capable thanks to boundless food and granaries -- but we can't fit the new pop into our nation.

The luxes will allow us to continue to grow.
