Sorry, I've been *very* busy with RL things the past few days and haven't had the chance to play DG saves ro do much DG diplomacy of late. I hope to have more free time near the end of the 3-day weekend (in other words, hopefully tomorrow - definately not today).

As Arnelos has abandoned this game, I've now returned as the official turnplayer. If someone else would like to step up and volunteer, please post in this thread.

This turn we built 2 more Conquistadors in El Paso and Monterrey, and began construction on 2 more. I adjusted the WF in San Antonio to get the cathedral there faster, and discovered that we didn't have a scientist, so I turned one of our taxmen into one.

Sent 100g and WM to GS.

*NOTE: San Antonio to become a temporary worker pump once its Cathedral is complete at the start of next turn.
*NOTE: San Diego builds Cathedral 1 turn faster now, sacrificing 2 fpt in the meantime. That's ok, since San Antonio is going to serve as the worker pump anyhow. San Diego's specialist changed from Scientist to Taxman because researching Replaceable Parts at 40 turns has no real purpose... we're going to get it for free long before that and the extra money from the Taxman will actually make a difference (albeit a very small one).
*NOTE: Santa Barbara still needs to shortrush 2 more shields in order to save a full turn on its constrution of a factory. That opportunity should arrise in another 3 turns (use a Library to rush 2 shields then).
*NOTE: El Paso and Monterrey continue their Colluseums (Factory prebuilds). El Paso will need to be switched to the Palace before the Colloseum accidentally completes. Monterrey will need to switch to a WONDER before the Colloseum accidentally completes.

Ok, I didn't know that was so time critical. I can have San Diego build 1 Conquistador along with a second Galleon before starting on its Factory prebuild. The other cities are already committed to their current courses.

Let's get those Conquistadors done soon. From the sound of GS's email, they're getting very near to Marines and when the Marines come, the invasions follow.

Also, they asked us to 40-turn Espionage. We should start on that, if possible.
