    THIS TURN we raize Madrid.

After which, all of the governors will need to reexamine their cities, as many of them will have changed corruption and production values.

A tragic day. I hope that one day, like a phoenix from the ashes, Madrid will re-emerge. I must only ask that some great goal be given to the land of our ancestors, where Spain rose to its glory.

Unless the production of Toledo is not affected...

    Toledo: 4 turns to Barracks.

    Empire growing,
    Pleasures flowing,
Fortune smiles and so should you.

      BEFORE razing Madrid :

let the beginning of the turn run until the worker at Barcelona is done. So, Barcelona will have a size of 4 and will not compete with Pamplona to get the Palace.

      Barcelona : build a Galley

You cannot wait for this to happen, you have no choice. Either the worker is done at the begining of the turn or it is not.

When Madrid is raized, we will immediately found New Madrid, and then add the settler to it, making it size 3.

New Madrid will either build a temple or a pikeman, it will mostly depend on if we need immediate use of the tiles outside of the initial radius.

But the following 3 builds are priorities: Temple, Pike, Barracks. After that, we'll build according to needs.

Not a problem. I test-abandoned the city (and even bumped Zaragossa up to 5 by joining a worker) to see what would happen. Pamplona still got the palace anyway with all 3 cities at size 5.

            Pamplona:
Keep going with the Temple. I'm satisfied to finish it first but my next build request will likely be a Granary.

Unfortunately, it HAS to be done at the begining of the turn as that is when the settler will be completed.

                Worker things to follow

Señor Calamari, ET would be a far better person to ask. I believe he is more familiar with the corruption calculations than I am. Obviously, it will have to bare more corruption, but the actually percentage drop escapes me. I have to dust off the books and re-familiarize myself with the formula though.

On another matter, has any attempt been made to discuss why ND's galley is in our borders? It would have been far more respectful to have avoided doing so. We cannot be sure that they don't have a landing party that they plan on putting in our moutains, and they should be made to know that this is unacceptable and could raise tensions between our two nations.

Yes, I noticed. I'm just hoping they don't have a settler aboard.

The save is here. We are on Undernet server, as Poly chat is back down.

I don't know if Togas is going to play the turn or not, but Dejon, Bigfree and I are all online right now.

Madrid was disbanded when Settler produced. NEW MADRID build, settler added to it. Size 3.
Barcelona has lost 1 tile of productive land, Toledo is fine.

Our cities are all somewhat different and most are improved. We are making 31gpt now, and our production is clearly better in virtually all of our cities. I urge all of our governors to download the save, rebuild madrid and see how your city has changed.

                          Mil Strengths remain the same

GoW has reaquired Iron from ND.

                          ND's galley has vanished

                          Feocalvos NE
New Med Inf goes to Leon
                          Leon Guard moves to Zaragoza

Nina SW, SW, S *unloads Madrid Exp SE of barb camp*

                          Barcelona Worker (New) W, W, S (joins King's)

                          cities:
Zaragoza finishes Med Inf, starts on Pikeman. (production 8)

New madrid builds Temple (cue = Barracks, Pike)

Pamplona temple in 1, grows to 6 in 2. Given that it's going to be at size 6 in 2 turns, I don't see why a Granary is needed. The nation's new capital needs many more important improvements.

Santiago changed from courthouse to marketplace (no longer needs courthouse) ... 88 turns, Santiago needs more mines.

Leon worker in 1, grows in 2. Production changed to settler now that it grows like crazy AND can produce much faster. We need a new settler pump, this is it.

Vigo grows in 1 (market in 26)

Valencia finishes Spear, starts on Temple
