with two luxuries, Pamlona won't go into civil disorder even if an unhappy citizend appears, because there would still be more happy citizens than unhappy ones."Never trust a man who puts your profit before his own profit." - Grand Nagus Zek, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, episode 11

Madrid Disease Eradication Program
Worker built (see RC's orders for what he does), set build to worker. Set WF to 4-5, 5 SPT, 2 Surplus Food. Worker complete in 2 turns.
No WF changes over the build time.

Name the workers, Castor and Pollox. They will more than likely be working together for quite a while.

Speaking of the Palace jump, when it happens, the city with the largest pop will be the new palace location. Now Pamplona is the preferred location. Yes, the settler build there will lower the pop, but that city is awash with food. The risk is Barcelona. Here is another size 5 that is making a boat. We should strongly consider placing a worker or 2 in that queue after the current build insure Pamplona is top pop.
And we could use the workers for the spice highway project.
The second boat from Barcelona is illadvised. It will not be able to contribute to the GS war due to timing.I used to be a builder. That was before I played Civ III

I agree with Astrologix. If the other cities have to build settlers/workers to ensure that they are not the ones with the highest population then maybe Pamplona should put some other thing in its queue."Never trust a man who puts your profit before his own profit." - Grand Nagus Zek, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, episode 11

The High Lord of Vigo has come down from his mountain resort to view the construction of a courthouse.
-Weeeell, I'd really like to see some more trade going on here...
-But Sire, we've been working for months to complete this!
-Are you disobeying my orders?
Well, anyway, Next time I come here I want a fully armed and operational marketplace, now get to it!Diplogamer formerly known as LzPrst

Since we are going to be needing commerce so that we can try to research someting in the future, I suggest that Pamplona change it's build to a Market Place. I'm sure that the Palace would jump there as long as it's a size 6 and Barcelona is a size 5. If they're both the same size(5) then it comes down to which city has the most other cities around it with population of those cities being a factor. This again points to Pamplona over Barcelona since Barcelona is pretty much all alone and Pamplona has a few cities near it. It may even jump to Pamplona if it's a size 4 and Barcelona is a size 5, because of the number of population points that are nearer to Pamplona.
To make a long story short as long as Pamplona's population is greater than or equal to Barcelona's, then the Palace will jump to Pamplona.
Still, building a marketplace in Pamplona would be a smart move, a Settler could follow it.

We could send the new worker's created in Madrid to Barcelona to do some forest chopping; this would add 10 shields to a 30 shield project cutting off two turns to gte the second Galley built. There's also a worker next to barcelona who could be tapped for this job as well. There's two tiles that we could chop, we could even do both.
Once we get a map from GoW we can then postulate how long it would be till we could get some units over and then we could ask Vox if that timeline is acceptable. By the sounds of things in the public forums and what Beta has told us, this war could last for quite a while. Maybe they'll be content with us finnishing 2 Galley's and sending over 4 units or maybe they'd prefer that we built 3 and sent all 6 at once. we shall find out soon; but lets have a plan ready for both scenarios.
