The situation with Invictus is as follows:
* In 7 turns, it will grow to size 3;
* In 6 turns, it will try to build a settler.
Of course, we'll not be able to build a settler when the city is still at size 2, so it will be delayed one turn.
There are two options: wait the extra turn, or use it to build something in. A warrior will require 2 turns to build, so if we switch in the next turn, we'll build the settler 8 turns from now, 1 turn after Invictus has grown. I think we will keep the extra food accumulated in that turn.
The advantage is that we can immediately start working on a Granary after the settler, thus maximizing our growth capabilities. The spearman can go with the settler, while the new warrior can stay in Invictus.
The drawback is that we'll have 5 units (6 with the settler) while only 4 are allowed. This'll cost us some upkeep.
