I think that in general, it is a good thing to show that we have good relations with everyone. So this fits into that plan.

we gotta stop loggin on to #apolyton. Since NDE logs into public chat and doesnt talk in it since they are all discussing diplomacy on private chat, as an outsider, I'd be suspicious of NDE and Lux members since they are all zombified in public chat.

I think the Vox one will only work well if they know, if they don't and they get on to it they might just spoil the whole thing and no one will trust anything we say again...

Just let them think that ND and we are very close... if they attack one of us, they'll have 2 opponents.

Well...it's obvious that we'll never be close now...more like bitter rivals...or big boxers feeling each other out before the main event...

I think NDE may not be friends with many of the Apolyton teams, they are from outside , from another channel /site.. them being German dosen't make a difference, though they might get on better with Trip with his german roots.

I agree if we get a fake or real alliance with Vox it will be useful, We can make it seem like we will trade them IW and they will help us with their great immortals. (not a bad real plan BTW)
It looks like we will need a couple of allies against ND and other possible hostile groups, such as GoW.

We could paint our alliance with ND in a good light, when we release this info to others, We can make out we are near an alliance with them.

It may be wise to tell our friendly 'allies' soon about our contact with ND, we need to know what politic dealings they have with them, we need all the info we can get.

I suggest we talk about ND to our close friends in about 8 turns, when we may be preparing for military action and nearly have IW. What do you all think?

We should feign ignorance knowledge of any other civs for now, until it doesn't matter (far into the future). For now, I think ignoring NDE is the best policy.

At this point, try for Warrior Code, but avoid border/terretory commitments beyond obvious sovereignty issues. "Stay out of our paint, and we'll stay out of yours." Also, there's no harm in being vague when you're not sure how things are going to turn up.
