I don't want to pop rush, each lost pop will cost us the use of an additional tile in that city for the next 10-15 turns. Thus the loss of 10-30 shields, 10-30 Food, and 0-30 commerce. That's pretty expensive to rush a unit.

      GF:
well than switch some builds to horsemen!!
I had noticed a few turns ago, there was only one city building horsemen... we need LOTS of them!!
This is why I want to have city governers soon - so we have more direct input on the produciton of the country.

We finish the 6 horsemen in ~4 turns. Do we switch then? I personally want to. It would mean we get Chivalry quicker. We probably won't have more than 4 turns of anarchy.

What are you talking about? Almost all our productive cities are building Horsemen.

All you had to do was say something, you requested more Horsemen and I switched four cites to Horseman production.

Don't you guys think we should be preparing a Horesman hoard, so we can upgrade them to Riders and finally get a bad-ass army?? 15-20 horsemen, upgrade cost won't be that much considering the might-our new Rider army will have

My post was a week old; written while only one city was producing horses. Now, we could do with a few more builds (corrupt-er cities), but we're fine now.

I do think, that once we have our 6 Voxian horsemen, we make the gamble and switch ASAP.

I really wanted more units, incase Vox did anything stupid...(Imagine if we had allowed them that 1 city...who do you think would be facing 16 immortals now)

But as it seems, our position is reasonably secure..I say we gamble now.

I agree. Once we get the 6 horsies, it's revolution time.
