And just a sundry check off list....stuff I think about
Where do we store the troops ?
If we fortify them in the front line city, Lux cant see them.
But with writing, they can establish embassies, which means they can investigate cities.
If they do this, and discover our horsemen, they will know our plans.
If we fortify them just outside the city, Lux cant see where we have them, unless they start moving into our territory.
Unfortunately, they have a habit of doing this.
Also, we should be aware that they are checking our city sizes for pop growth, which equals military buildup.
How can we hide that ? Do we have to hide it ? As they will be expecting us to join with them against ND.
Nah... we keep in negotation with Lux and let them see the pop flux for Military build up. I think it will incourage them. Tell people that embassies are not allowed in our country unless a RoP is involved with the contract. Establishing an embassy in our country with out our permission is a declareation of war.
Hmmm, donegeal, me thinks you are falling behind a bit, the war appears to be starting next turn, and Lux won't have Writing because our GOOD FRIEND, Roleplay has plotted a trade embargo with us that our two civs will be the only ones to hold Writing until the other ones give the two of us all of their contacts.

Holy crap! I guess so. Sorry about the fall off on my part guys. My RL situation is starting to work its self out so I will be back in full soon.
Goals
- To gain their source of iron.
- To wipe them out completely.
They will hold a grudge and plot against us for the rest of the game if we dont kill them.
If we keep them alive, do we need a settler to snatch their iron source ?
Possible demands if we keep them alive.
- Slaves
- Settlers (They settle a city and gift it to us)
- Territory claim...(They CANOT expand North)
- MPP...We will protect them for the rest of the game, so long as they do what we say...(They become our slave state)....very unlikely they will agree to this.

He He He. There was a MAJOR amount of diplomacy in the last 24 hours, I just thought it was funny as I typed the previous response on how much stuff had changed in one day.
The minute we connect the Horsies we will pop out 2 Veteran Horsemen, our cities are prebuilding now. ND informed me they will hold off on attacking Lux for a few turns so it looks like those two Horsemen will only have to deal with one Regular Warrior defending Lux's new city.
we need to ask ND about what turn we declare war. This way, se can start a chat so we can coordinate our actions during our turns.

Trip is sending us Mysticism this turn (supposedly) so we do need to send them Mathematics.
we need to give Lux mathematics - we don't want to be known as agreement breakers. Either wait until we give it to declare with war, or we do something unconventional:
1. Send a declaration of war to Lux, saying we will trade them mathematics.
2. Wait until we get math.
3. Gift peace treaty with math, Lux accepts.
4. Declare war again next turn.

The only problem I see is there won't be a Lux to make a peace treaty with.
They are building a settler in one turn and have shifted their units to Fabio (info from Trip).
ND just moved a Swordsmen stack (Minimum of 2, but I would guess 4+) ADJACENT to Fabio (info from Darekill).
Trip's going to come to grips with reality this turn, or he's going to have a mental breakdown.

This is the only way to do it. It sounds wierd, but we have to do it.
If Lux is no longer around, then we have not broken any deals.
