I suggested we build a spearman to go with the settler considering how military tensions are becoming high at the current juncture.

I agree with panzer, however, I think we should still switch it and send the Spear we just made to site A, B or C.

I would prefer B, as I think we will be able to negotiate with ND in reguards to site C and I fully believe that no one would be stupid enough to build a city at site A (when it is so close to our capitol that we would be able to spit on it).

We are already forming a natural alliance with ND (who seem to be amazingly passive). Moving toward Lux with cut them off and still keep our land open...

BTW, maybe build a defense less settler (instead of a temple) and send him to site G to start to poop out workers...

I am at work now, so I am doing it from memory...Is our capital producing a temple ?

Is it a prebuild for something else ?
If we are playing regent level, would it be better to switch to a grainery so we can pump out those settlers ?

The plan was to build a temple (it will expand the culture area and give the three camps more tiles to work without having to build temples in the three camps) and will allow the capitol to grow bigger and thus use more citizens to speed up unit production in the capitol or build a Wonder.

It was going to build a settler immediately after finishing the temple and then concentrate on growing larger and having a high shield output while the three camps took over settler/worker production.

We finished HorsebackRiding and I put on us 100% gold which is 8 gpt for right now.


DIPLOMATIC SUGGESTIONS:
We need to contact Lux and see if they wish to trade Horseback for Ironworking WITH the guarantee that they do NOT trade Horseback Riding to Roleplay or ND.

Offer Lux 20 gold for Mysticism which is half the cost (it costs 40 gold) basically this will mean they only had to do half of the research and we will pay for the other half. They still get to trade it to Roleplay for another tech.

Offer to trade ND Horseback for Mathematics WITH the guarantee that they do NOT trade Horseback Riding to Roleplay.

Regarding ND, you may want to let them know that we had already agreed to trade Horseback to Lux before they responded to the tech pact proposal.

We have to live up to the deal we agreed to do with Lux just as we will always uphold our end of any deals we agree to do with them.

I would be willing to give them HorsebackRiding now if they agree to give us Mathematics the turn they discover it (not sure what everyone else thinks). Let them know that we can't research anything until we get Mathematics and try to find out which tech they will be researching after they finish it.

If necessesary agree to NOT trade Mathematics to anyone but try to avoid this concession.

I thought the deal had been already locked in.

Perhaps they will do it in the spirit of the game and to better our relations....The last thing we need is yet another team claiming we are breaking a deal

It was part of the ORIGINAL deal, but Lux seems to be overlooking that fact which is why I want in reiterated.
