We have quite a few horse that are being built(6 next turn+2 unupgraded left still)) so we will soon be using all these names.

Good that should give us a good estimate of what Roleplay has left since they apparently took back the catapults.

I don't put much stock in their propaganda. The pict showed a pike at 3/4. If they were throwing pikes at our riders, that is downright crazy. But if they did this pamploma should be soft. Also with our riders retreat, it is almost impossible that they killed all. They evn got the number of elite wrong.

I just got this from Nd.

"At turn 300 AD I could use 3 Ansars for attack, at 310 AD there would be 6
              Ansars near Pamplona.

              Looking forward the next turn.
              Greetings

              Zayxus"

So that adds up to approx 10 4 attack units available this turn and 27 4 attack units the following turn.

I am not sure that Rp destroyed our 8 riders, but those riders are not included in these totals. With retreats it is more than likely that 4/5 retreated to safety. But we must wait for vox's view to know for sure. Regardless the losses they must have sustained were huge and RP can't replace them.

Once we see vox's map, we can plan whether or not to atatck this turn or not. An arguement could be made to show weakness by waiting. Thus preventing them form gifting cities etc.

Those are the forces guarding the main catapults and the Alamo right now. So they can. They know we have at least 6 more riders, but have no idea how many more are recovering at Alamo(10) nor that we have 2 full riders and can't see the 4 more that will be riding south(available in 310, nor the next 2 coming south). Also I sent a horse down toward Alamo. We will be running low on upgrade money so might as well get some down there to be upgraded(as you mentioned some time ago).

In short they have only the vaguest idea of our total forces. I do apologize if they did take the catapults in the forest back. I expected they would limit a counterattack to only offensive units. I never thought they would be so desperate as to use pike. Then again if they did this, its a good trade(unless they got REAL LUCKY).

Vox was 11g short of getting a shot of Pamplona. Considering that we will have our big attack stack only 2 turns later then perhaps it isn't so bad. Beta forgot to tell me how much it would cost, I e-mailed them back to ask this.

Nope, unortho, you(and ghengis now an elite too) were recovering from wounds recieved. You will be fully ready to personally lead the attack in 310. I was wondering that maybe we got a GL and thats why they felt compelled to throw pike at the stack, of course this is just conjecture.

That's entirely possible as when I played the attack last turn on my computer we GOT a GL.

                            Paamplona investigation will cost 166g.

btw, is it a fact we lost the cats?

Did we bombard anything with the Cats after we took them last turn?

Yes we bombarded Pamploma. We had 1 hit on a 4/4 pike and a knight was then showing.

No, MZ we do not Know we lost them. It is very possible that the announcement of victory by RP is just propoganda to scare us. It would have taken large numbers that RP can ill afford to lose to do take that stack. So either rp is weakened and we lost the stack or the stack is still there and RP is domed to be shelled to death this turn and next. RP says that they used Pike to take the last few units in the stack. If this is the case this deperation could account for GS's letter. I just am assuming the lost so as not to be surprised. Additionally with the retreat abilities of the units it is doubtful all were taken.

Additionally GS sees ND forces in Merida and realized that they can defend that stack while we take pamploma.
