I'm not sure that it plays in our favor to mention GoW's landing. I think it'd be best if we just eliminated their presence and kept quiet about it.
Alternatively, if we want to send out a warning, I'd rather do it after we've gotten rid of the horsemen.

        GoW: I see two choices.
1: We clear their horses, and offer peace right after, telling them in a PM that we expect our NDA to get followed no matter what.

\2: We go public, telling the rest of the world that we do not want to play in any ruse, but if horses land next to our cities, we have little other choice then to kill them. Also, we say that we fully expect that one of the reasons for GoW was that in case we declared war, it would be honorable of them to breach our NDA, but warn other parties taht we will not be pleased if they take GoWs offer, and can only see them as accomplisses in this provocation. Not that we are in any shape to do something about it right now, but maybe, just maybe, we will survive Vox and need to decide later in this game which side of a conflict to choose. So, ask everybody to be friendly to us, as we tried to be friendly to everyone too...

I posted the following in the "Who has the Game Save" thread so other teams will have a better idea when to expect the save:

Just so everyone knows, GS won't finish playing our turn until sometime in the evening U.S. time. We have a few Voxian troops and two renegade GoW horsemen to dispatch, but the exact manner of doing so and the troop dispositions afterward are not matters we want to rush. Our apologies for the delay, but this is a big turn for us.
That pretty much nixes trying to keep GoW's landing a secret, but I took care not to play up the landing for the moment either.

In that case, I vote #2 on my own choices. But we need to do it very politely, and careful...

Damn. I would have said nothing at all about the GoW horses. If asked about it, the response could have been "oh, sorry, we didn't consider them to be worthy of note. They died. Badly."

              But that's just me.

To whomever plays the turn (Nathan?): can we get some screenshots of Immortals dying, please? The more the merrier.

Well... now that it is done, we have to comment on it. We can't keep quiet from now on, or we will miss quite a few Feudalism partners... No to mention the fact that I do not want to play in GoW's ruse. Already dejon is commenting on the 'renegades', if we would shut up now, we would do exactly what GoW wants.

I want to wait until after we kill the GoW units before we say anything more.

That's for sure, we don't even now if we have killed them both.

I don't like bringing up terms of agreement as 'still in effect'. GoW has broken the treaty, and we can't expect other teams to abide by the terms GoW agreed to. If they are going to break the agreement, they are going to break it... no need for us to sound off about it and give the other teams ideas about what we are planning to do in retaliation.

Let it go (publicly), but we won't forget...

I agree we shouldn't make a big point out of it, and we certainly are in no position to threaten anyone, but simply letting it go without at least trying to get other teams on our side I don't like... it means they have won already, and we create a dangerous precedent.

If not posting anything public about it, we should at least get some diplomatic contacts going, to warn others... everybody knows about the NDA we have with GoW, as we either explicitely told them, or offered them the same deal, saying it would apply to all teams.

Or, we could simply post a message to GF, telling them that we wouldn't trust them in-game if they decide to cross us once, and that they are throwing away a possible partner here. They know they can't really harm us, maybe they will think twice...

If someone came to us and said "We have an NDA on X with Y, so don't trade with them." when we already knew that, I would feel like they were questioning our integrity. It's close to an insult, and one they can use to fuel such arguments as "They think we are screwing them over anyways, we might as well".

They know we have an NDA. If they are worried about breaking the NDA, they will come to us and ask. If they aren't worried about it, they will break the NDA anyways.

As for GoW, I don't think we should say anything to them at all. Kill the Horses and let them come to us to figure out what it means in our perspective.

It makes us look weak and desperate to keep making the same points over and over.

True. But did we make those points to them already? They were repeated over and over in this forum, but was it said to GoW once that we don't like teams that break deals? It's obvious, sure, but how obvious?
