Surprise U.S. landing in the Korean conflict.
The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

            Alva,

To elaborate a bit further, Inchon occurred at a time when nearly the entire NK army was deep in SK, having overrun most of the country. Only a small perimeter around the port of Pusan remained.

Then, all of a sudden, a major US force lands at Inchon, far to the north, and cuts across Korea from East to West, cutting off and trapping the bulk of the NK army. So the momentum swung really, really fast.

That's the first historical manuever that came to mind when I looked at our situation.

Great read... I was actually surprised I proposed Inchoff back then, I thought that one came from Nathan

Certainly worth the bump, now let's see how it pans out. Thanks for the idea, Arrian
