Will we be able to see if the city currently known as 'Port Isolation' changes hands, so we can get some proof that Vox are really attacking GoW?

We should be able to see that, yes.
I doubt the others are in it though, but what could be possible, is that the price Vox has to pay to get that BoBvox city back, is to attack us.
Even that doesn't make sence (at least not from Vox's POW, but, that hasn't stopped them before)Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

I can see it now: GoW to Vox - "We'll give you back your city if you attack Gathering Storm." And thinking, "And once that happens, we'll move in when we get Riders and take the land from both of those civs." But that's just paranoia - isn't it?

Damn, we can't even set our ambassy to good use, to see what's happening in the rest of the world. (Although in MP, that could still be 'technical' ).

GoW will still need iron (ND?).
But they would set the door wide open to ND (let Gow get some units to our continent, cut the iron supply....)Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Should we go looking for 'non-attack-treaties' with other teams? Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

If noone objects, I'll try to ask any members of GoW that I come across for a screenshot of the Voxian invasion force. We'll see what we can make of their reaction to this.
Btw, now that we have a trade route with GoW, perhaps we should start a harbor in one of the coastal cities where we don't have a barracks and don't intend to build one in the near future? GoW said that they are interested in having iron, if only for just one turn (where the turn afterwards they would cancel the trade by declaring war and then signing peace). Surely they would pay a significant amount of gold for this, as we are their only choice - no iron in the islands that they've scouted, no trade route with RP (they need to build a harbor in Barcelona, and only then they can trade), trade with Lego still isn't possible technologically and ND is certainly not an optional supplier.
Btw2, I'm SO glad that we decided to build Monsoon away from the mountains! Whew!!"Close your eyes, for your eyes will only tell the truth,

Close your eyes, and let music set you free..."

Ok, we need to get the spears we do have up on the mountains ASAP. We need to recall the WC in the western desert. We need to shut off research and upgrade all warriors we can.
Then we whittle them down while building up our forces.

Is there a direct road through the jungle to the north, or are we going to have to take dissville with swords and then build new roads?

No diplomatic contact that I'm aware of.
With Grog dead, we have no way of knowing the status of the road between Dissidentville and the rest of Vox's empire. If they play it smart, they'll leave the road while they're on the offensive but be ready to pillage it if the tide turns against them.

Let's get both Spears in Arashi, ready to move up onto the Mountain 9 if Necessary. Put 2 reg Warriors up on the Mountains by Hurricane to stop landings (reg Warriors do this as well as anyone).
Only upgrade the Vet Warriors for now. We have enough warning to get the others in place before we'd need them.
---------------
This probably will work out about as good as we could have hoped for. There were some diplomatic problems with declaring war ourselves, this leaves us no blemish on our honor.
When Hurricane finishes the Pyramids, it could beat Vox by itself I'm afraid (once we get to Feudalism). They are really invading us with their infrastructure looking like that? 3 size 4 cities... I think the military advisor has hoodwinked them.
For now let's just hold back, and force everything off the mountains coming towards Arashi (Spears or Swords fortified on a mountain are 4.5 defense). Switch Bolderberg or Tornado to a Spear. Then use WC's to clean up anything that drops down into the flat. All our WC's should be in Arashi for now.
