  • I'll be quoting that.

How do I set up a secure chat?
The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

        • You can use the java chatroom, or, as I am, use a program like mIRC.

            • Lego not fitting together?

              So,

              1) there was a row inside Lego over Sharpe and Nimitz's 'unauthorised chat', which resulted in Sharpe leaving the team.

              2) Vondrack is the primary turn player but holds no title. That's fine, we don't have titles either. Nimitz is Foreign Affairs Minister. Vondrack insists that he only is the voice of the Lego.

              3) Vondrack was extremely apologetic about the 'unauthorised chat', beseeching us to ignore anything they said. The thing is, they didn't really say anything that contradicted the 'official' position as spelled out by Vondrack in the email. Also, we took the chat as being the opinions of the individuals, not the team - but it seems that Lego - or at least Vondrack - didn't, and seemed to think they were wildly out on a limb.

              4) Lego and Gow are frightened of each other. Neither will approve our plan without the others approval. Fascinating.

              • A reasonable response from vondrack... one that unfortunately does us no good. The only way that Lego will intervene on Bob will be in the event that a single power emerges, which probably won't happen for just that reason.

                • I think the appropriate answer is something like "thank you for your kind offer concerning techs and resources, we appreciate ... bla bla ... We never forget, who did good to our team and who did not. May you always be able to defend your coast with your own forces."

Then block our own coasts with units, get some popcorn, sit back and enjoy their destruction from far without doing a thing (may be even joining it). Unless something major happens, we lost this game, no doubt.

Indeed, its probably over for us as far as victory is concerned. Perhaps we can play a role in shaping the ultimate victor.

For my part, I would like to see ND win more than the other two.

I did think that he was a bit disengenuous, saying that they thought we could handle both ND and GoW (due to the vox trouncing) and that we could destroy both. Give me a frickin break.

                      • Then why not offer ND to assist them in the destruction of GoW, and tell them they can have all of Bob? That would destroy GoW and piss off Lego. I would tremendously enjoy it if that would happen. Lego would intervene, but that's a 2 vs 2 again and our reinforcements can get there faster than Legos. We are still strong militarily, let's use it while it lasts.

                        • I would much rather fight with ND against Leg/GoW than the other way around.

and we know its going to be a 2 on one gangbang (well, 3 with vox)
